COVID 19 - PRODUCTION PROTOCOLS &

GUIDELINES

This short document outlines the risk and actionable protocols that I and any other crew members working for Nathan Walton LTD must adhere to in order to mitigate risk of infection during the COVID 19 restrictions.

Production

Location -

• All crew members must ensure they are free of COVID 19 related symptoms, including members of their respective households and have not knowingly come into contact with anyone showing symptoms 14 day prior to filming date.

• A minimum of 2m will be adhered to for all members of the shoot where possible.

• PPE including masks and gloves will be worn for crew members where necessary and hand sanitisers available to all members of the shoot.

• All crew members will be encouraged to wash hands regularly.

• Sound will be captured via a boom mic where possible in order to maintain social distancing.

• Only filming crew will be allowed to use filming and sound equipment.

• All filming and sound equipment required for the shoot (including any rentals) will be cleaned and sanitised prior to and after the shoot.

• Each person is responsible for their own food and drink and will not be shared with other members of the crew.

• The use of longer lenses on camera equipment to ensure 2m distance is maintained where possible from crew members and model/subject matter.

 Studio -

• All of the above protocols should also be applied to studio based shoots including these extras:

• A large enough studio space is used to ensure social distancing of 2m is maintained as much as possible for all members of the shoot.

 Pre and post production

• During pre production, if location scouting is required this will safely be done with 1 crew member, ensuring they follow all travel guidelines at the time of scouting as well as wearing PPE and access to a hand sanitisers if required.

• During post production all requirements will be done safely from home environments where possible (including editing).

• Whilst working from home, all crew members must continue to adhere to all safety guidelines including washing hands regularly and self isolating for a minimum of 14 days if they or any members of their household have COVID 19 related symptoms.

I will strictly follow all these protocols where possible and do my utmost to ensure others around me adhere to these too, however I and Nathan Walton LTD is not responsible for any other crew members that fail to meet these guidelines.

All safety protocols are based on government advice as of May 2020.
